Singleton is on the A286 between
Chichester and Midhurst.
Heading North take the road on the right for Charlton,and park in the layby
by the school.

This is an ideal walk when time is short or you just fancy a leisurely stroll. Park in the layby in front of the school and take the footpath in the picture above left. At the stile carry straight ahead to the fingerpost in the picture above right. Take the path to the right across Levin Down to the next fingerpost that you can just see in the picture on the right. |

When you reach the post in the picture above take the route to the left shown in the picture on the left. You need to keep over to the left and follow the trees round to the gate in the picture below

Go through the gate and head across the small field slightly to your left, to the stile in the picture on the left. Head downhill through the trees and cross the wide track to the stile in the picture on the right |

Turn right and follow the line of trees to the stile near the house in the picture on the left.Turn right here onto a road that takes you towards Broadham House shown in the picture on the right and below right. |

Go straight past the house and outbuildings,ignore the paths to the left and right and carry straight ahead through the gate in the picture on the left.At the next junction shown in the picture on the right turn to your right. |

Soon you get a view of the back of Levin Down. Picture on the right.When you reach the path that goes of to your left, turn right as shown in the picture below and go through the gate turning left as picture below left. |

You now need to head across to the trees to the stile shown in the picture on the left and marked on the above right picture. Once over this stile follow the narrow path to the right through the trees and eventually to the stile shown in the picture on the right. Then just carry straight on this path. |

Take care as you get onto the road especially with children.Turn left here and you see the junction in the picture on the left. Now turn down the road to the right and after a few yards take the footpath on the right shown in the picture on the right |

Head straight on to the houses in the distance which is Singleton and take the footpath between houses to a road where you can turn right to your car or take the footpath ahead to the church that is just a little way on. From the church turn right to the road then right again to your car. |
